Accounts
A Komodo account is your organizational entity within the Komodo platform. Each account has its own unique data and Snowflake warehouse.
Account Structure
Section titled “Account Structure”Each Komodo account has:
- Unique Data: Data subscriptions are tied to an account
- Dedicated Snowflake Warehouse: A provisioned Snowflake warehouse that stores all the account’s data
- Isolated Operations: Every operation is scoped to an account
Account Identifiers
Section titled “Account Identifiers”Accounts have two identifiers:
- Account ID: A UUID that uniquely identifies your account (e.g.,
123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000) - Account Slug: A human-readable identifier (e.g.,
my-organization)
Multiple Accounts
Section titled “Multiple Accounts”Users can have access to multiple accounts, each with their own unique data.
Important:
- Data cannot be moved between accounts
- Each account has completely isolated data
- You must specify which account you’re working with for all operations
